I bought a variety of pears this week because I loved the colors. I used a roll of brown wrapping paper for the background on the one above. The one below is the same shot put through a texture (plaster) filter in Corel.

Yesterday morning was cold and windy. The thermometer said 20 degrees, but that didn’t keep the birds away from the feeders. I watched this little chickadee fetch it’s breakfast, one seed at a time.
